@tom_doerr — Python automation for YouTube Shorts, Twitter bots, and affiliate marketing
Automates creating YouTube Shorts, Twitter bots, and affiliate marketing tasks using Python and various APIs
Three separate automation tasks bundled together — YouTube Shorts generation, bot posting, and affiliate link management — all via Python. That's an interesting combination: not a polished product, but a scripts repo covering the kind of repetitive content-distribution work that people usually do by hand or outsource. Worth looking at the API composition choices if you're building anything similar.
@tom_doerr — $45 e-paper display (color version $67)
This looks amazing. The display only costs $45 and there even is an e-paper color version for $67. Would make a great Christmas present
An e-paper display at that price point is legitimately interesting for hobby projects — low power, readable in sunlight, and the color version at $67 is within range for something you'd actually deploy rather than just prototype with. 3,400 bookmarks suggests a lot of people had the same reaction. I'd want to know the refresh rate and driver library quality before committing.
@praveenjuge — Landing Hero UI, Day 8 of 31
Landing Hero UI - Day 8 of 31
Day 8 of a 31-day design challenge, each entry a different hero section layout. This one got 1,097 bookmarks — high for a daily exercise. The value here is less any single design and more the constraint: shipping one finished composition per day forces decisions that studying design theory doesn't. Useful reference if you're building marketing pages and want to see what "enough variation" actually looks like.
@jaydwivedi_ — Minimal Portfolio Figma Template
Figma Design Done✅ Minimal Portfolio Figma Template droping tomorrow at sprrrint. com⚡️
Teaser for a Figma portfolio template ahead of a drop on sprrrint.com. The design in the preview is clean — restrained grid, good whitespace. Honestly just saved this to check the actual template quality when it dropped. Figma templates are hit or miss; this one looked closer to hit.
@Markbuschn — Industrial typeface request
Need an industrial typeface like this, anyone?
A screenshot of bold, condensed industrial lettering prompted a typeface hunt. This went to 9,700 likes and 8,300 bookmarks — which means a lot of designers bookmarked it either to answer the question or because they want the same thing. Typography decisions follow design work everywhere, and a good condensed industrial face is genuinely hard to source. Check the replies.
5 of 13 bookmarks from this week had enough substance for this format. Skipped: a tech career advice thread with no original take, a Psychology of Money one-pager (not software), "Watch categories" with no context, two agency landing page design showcases, "recents" with four screenshots and no commentary, and a personal design exploration post.
