@shadcn — shadcn/ui Charts: copy-paste chart components built on Recharts
Introducing Charts.
A collection of chart components that you can copy and paste into your apps.
Built on top of Recharts. Beautifully designed. Open Source.
Neat — shadcn/ui's copy-paste model applied to charts is actually the right move here. Recharts is fine but styling it from scratch every time is tedious. Having pre-built, opinionated components you can drop in and own is more useful than another wrapper library you depend on forever.
@kukaarmedin — Rate limiting in Next.js with dub.co
Rate limiting in Next.js is as easy as it gets
cc: @dubdotco
Smart — rate limiting is one of those things that sounds simple but usually involves standing up Redis, wiring up middleware, and debugging edge cases for a day. If dub.co's abstraction actually collapses that into a few lines, that's worth knowing. The screenshot does look clean, though I'd want to see what happens at the edge cases (sliding window vs fixed, distributed state across regions).
@sidbing — Relearning math from scratch for ML
started relearning maths from scratch after 5 years today.
signed up to mathacademy . com gave a diagnostic test revising a lot of foundational stuff aim for 70+ XP everyday (~5-8 topics) finish maths for ml by jan 2025 hellyeah.jpg
Honestly saved this mostly as a reminder that mathacademy.com exists and has a structured ML math path. The diagnostic-then-adaptive approach is better than starting from "ok, 3Blue1Brown playlist." The concrete daily target (70 XP, 5-8 topics) is the kind of commitment that actually sticks — vague intentions don't.
@mddanishyusuf — 2.5 years running a US LLC as a solo founder based in India
📝 My 2.5 years experience of running LLC in US as a solo founder and I live in India.
I use @stripe Atlas, to registered LLC and paid $500(one-time setup fee).
Apply online took approx 30 minutes(1000x faster than registering a company in India)
I got EIN within 10 days, so I [...]
That's useful, concrete experience — Stripe Atlas, $500 setup, EIN in 10 days. Most advice on this topic is either vague or targeted at US residents, so hearing the actual timeline and toolchain from someone operating cross-border is more valuable than the generic "set up a Delaware LLC" thread. Filed this for when it's relevant.
